With twin brothers Walter and ‘Scotty’ Scott sharing  lead vocals, the Whispers have become one of the all-time iconic groups of R&B, sharing top ten hits through three decades, and finding ways to endure with their four member lineup intact through  illnesses, personal tragedy, even jail time.  They are the group that once helped link legendary promoter and producer Dick Griffey with Soul Train impresario Don Cornelius,  while crafting some of the most beloved songs of their era, from Seems like I got to Do Wrong to Rock Steady to, of course, And the Beat Goes On.
